All Set for African Authors Book Launch in Netherlands

As the world prepares to mark the World Book and Copyright Day, an initiative of United Nations Education Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) which takes place on 23rd of April every year, African Cultural Promotion Center (ACPC ) and International African School headquartered in Netherlands are poised to infuse an Afrocentric  event dubbed African Authors Book Launch as part of the commemorative events for this year’s celebration.

The event which is aimed at celebrating African Authors globally will be taking place on the 23rd of April at Bezuidenhoutseweg 40 2594 AW Den Haag in Netherlands from 2 to 6PM Central European Summer Time. The event will feature an interactive session with African authors and the participants in an introspective conversation, as they share their motivation for sharing Africa with the world through writing, inspiration for their artistic journeys, the challenges and victories in their stories so far.

Book lovers are expected to be mesmerized by the Book Market that will be set up at the event, featuring recently published books and educational resources by African Authors, exhibiting works spanning across the regions of the continent, making the event an epicenter for Africa’s cross-cultural intercourse.

All participants and attendees of the event are to be gifted a free copy of an African book catalogue by Africa Cultural Promotion Center, featuring a wide selection of books from African Authors. Come and browse through a wide selection of some amazing books written by great and motivated authors. This is a good opportunity to support African writers and buy some really good books.

The event is powered by Africa Cultural  Promotion Center(ACPC) in collaboration with International African School

Africa Cultural Promotion Center

ACPC was founded by Dr Mollynn Mugisha Otim and  Dr Stephen Otim  as a centre for African culture and cultural identity education ,to celebrate and promote African culture and its values. The center aims to create a  cultural hub to celebrate  African culture and connect  people of African origin living in the Netherlands to a vibrant African community by fostering their cultural identity, raise awareness and inclusion, enhance children of Africa descents confidence and independence as proud global citizens.

International African School

International African School an online School based in The Netherlands founded by Odillia Anyachi Okonga, a published author of Swahili Grammar books ,a fervent Afro-knowledge explorer committed to documenting and developing resources for Discovering Africa. International African School offers diverse African centered programs  within the primary and secondary school framework.
